Three People Arrested In Sibley Drug Bust

(Sibley)– The execution of several search warrants Thursday in Sibley has resuled in drug charges against three people.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says the first search was conducted at a residence at 806 Fourth Street in Sibley. Officers allegedly located drug paraphernalia consistent with the use of marijuana and methamphetamine. A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.

A search warrant was also executed at 316 Sixth Street in Sibley. It resulted in the arrest of 19-year-old Joseph White of Sibley. He was charged with prohibited acts…an aggravated misdemeanor; possession of marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of road signs and possession of alcohol under the legal age…all simple misdemeanors.

The third search warrnat was executed at 919 First Avenue West in Sibley. It resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old Lucas Todd of Sibley. He was charged with prohibited acts…an aggravated misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of road signs…both simple misdemeanors.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation continues and more charges are possible.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources assisted in executing the search warrants.
