A Storm Lake man wanted on an outstanding warrant for delivery of controlled substances was arrested Thursday afternoon at the Clay county courthouse in Spencer.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Matthew DeWall was taken into custody following a court appearance on separate narcotics charges. Authorities say Thursday’s arrest stemmed from an undercover buy operation.
DeWall is being held in the Clay county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver marijuana and a drug tax stamp violation. Both are class “D” felonies. Bond was set at 19,500-dollars.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
