November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– Spencer’s so-called spray paint vandals are at it again.

Police say they’ve received even more reports of buildings being spray painted. Most of the latest incidents were reported over the weekend.

The vandals first struck earlier this month.

Police say the most recent incidents are similar to the ones earlier reported, consisting of the letters and words “CLK”, “CLK4LIFE”, “CRAZY LIL KLICK” and “KILLA”. In one incident, the letters “C.R.I.P” are accompanied by a star of David. The letters and words “Y LIFE” and “CLK 4 LIFE” are used in another incident.

The most recent incidents took place in the 500 block of Eighth Street Southeast; the Spencer Aquatic Center; the skate park at East Leach Park; a shed at Oneota Park; Don Pearson Ford; 1212 South Grand Avenue; the two-thousand block of Highway Boulevard; the 300 block of 11th Street Southwest; 223 11th Street Southwest; 1019 South Grand Avenue and on the rafters under the Little Sioux River bridge.

Damage estimates vary from two hundred dollars up to more than five thousand.
