(Spencer)– A Spencer woman has won 25-thousand dollars playing the Iowa Lottery’s Silver Ticket scratch-off game.
Marjorie Horst claimed her prize last Friday at the lottery’s regional office in Storm Lake.
She purchased her winning ticket at Hy-Vee Gas in Spencer.
The game commemorates the Iowa Lottery’s 25th anniversary.
The Iowa Lottery is also running a summer contest called “Silver Ticket Cash Stops”. The lottery will hold a contest for a total of $1,000 in cash prizes at each of 25 events throughout the state, including the Great Okoboji Wing Ding this Sunday at Arnolds Park.
