(Spencer)– RAGBRAI, the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa, will be taking a route through northern Iowa this coming summer and will be going through Spencer.
Spencer has been designated as an overnight stop for Sunday, July 22nd.
This will be the fourth time Spencer has hosted the event.
RAGBRAI will kick off this year in Rock Rapids.
In addition to Spencer, overnight stops are planned for Humboldt, Hampton, Cedar Falls, Independence, Dyersville and Bellevue.
RAGBRAI will run July 22nd to July 28th, covering 478 miles.
Officials will announce the towns RAGBRAI will pass through on March 5th.
