(Milford)– The South Dickinson County Community Fund Drive is officially underway for another year.
Betty Naab, Secretary for the South Dickinson County Community Fund, says mailings went out to residents in the southern half of the county on Monday of this week (Oct. 16th).
The organization provides funding to the Iowa Great Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross; Salvation Army; Iowa Arthritis Foundation; Children and Family Foundation of Iowa; the Florence Crittenton Center; Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault; Plus, Incorporated; YMCA community programs; Shepherd’s Fold Ministries; Timeout Nursery; Kinship; Discovery House; Upper Des Moines Opportunity and the Humane Society of Northwest Iowa.
Donors can select a specific organization to receive their donation if they so wish.
The South Dickinson County Community Fund Drive continues through November 8th.
Contributions can be mailed or dropped off at United Community Bank in Milford.
