(Spirit Lake)– A search of a Spirit Lake residence Wednesday evening turned up methamphetamine and marijuana and has resulted in the arrests of two people.
Spirit Lake police say they executed a search warrant around 10:00 p.m. at 1515 Ithaca Avenue. Authorities seized about 28 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, prescription drugs, 1,905-dollars in cash and a 1993 Chevrolet S-10 truck.
67-year-old Larry Stinehart, who lives at that address, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver…a class “B” felony; failure to affix a drug tax stamp…a class “D” felony; possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of marijuana and four counts of unlawful possession of a prescription drug…all serious misdemeanors. Stinehart was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
Also arrested was 23-year-old Nicole Ann Schroeder of Spirit Lake. She was charged with frequenting a disorderly house and public intoxication.
Stinehart and Schroeder were both booked into the Dickinson county jail.
