(Spirit Lake)– A two-vehicle collision this (Monday) morning in Spirit Lake sent three people to the hospital.
Spirit Lake police say 49-year-old Lawrence Klepper of Terril was westbound on Highways nine and 71 and 28-year-old Carrie Sue Jobe of Spirit Lake was southbound on Gary Avenue when the two collided in the intersection.
Jobe and a passenger in her vehicle, Theodore Poole of Spirit Lake, were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. Klepper was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Their injuries were described as minor.
Five thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Klepper and to a 1994 Chrysler Town and Country mini van driven by Jobe.
Klepper was cited for failure to obey a traffic signal.
