(Fostoria)– The Iowa State Patrol has released details into a single-vehicle mishap last week that result in minor injuries to a Spirit Lake woman.
Authorities say 59-year-old Linda Moore was southbound on Highway 71 just north of Clay County Road B-17 when she lost control on the snow and slush-covered road. The vehicle slid into the median and overturned.
Moore sustained several small cuts to her left knee.
A 2002 Chevrolet Geo Tracker she was driving was totalled.
Moore was cited for failure to maintain control.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Fostoria Fire and Rescue, Spencer Ambulance and Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
