(Spencer)– A search of a residence has resulted in drug charges against a Spencer man.
Spencer police say they executed a search warrant around 6:45 p.m. Monday at 107 DeLoss Court in Spencer that resulted in the discovery of substances alleged to be methamphetamine and marijuana.
Jean-Michael Roland Brown was arrested and charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine to a minor…a class “D” felony; possession of methamphetamine, enhanced penalty, a class “D” felony; possession of marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
Brown was booked into the Clay county jail.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
The Spencer Police Department is being assisted in its investigation by the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
