(Linn Grove)– A search of a residence Saturday landed a rural Linn Grove couple in jail on drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says information gathered in a traffic stop in Spencer resulted in them obtaining a search warrant for a residence at 1840 440th Street near Linn Grove.
Authorities say the occupants of the residence, 44-year-old Richard Allen Thomas and 42-year-old Mary Beth Mount were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment.
The two were booked into the Clay county jail on bond of 10,400-dollars each.
