Rollover Injures Southern Minnesota Teen

(Sherburn, Mn.)– A southern Minnesota teen was injured in a single-vehicle mishap Monday night near Sherburn.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a 17-year-old male, who’s name wasn’t released, was driving a 2002 GMC Sierra truck eastbound on Interstate 90 at mile marker 86 in Martin county when the vehicle went into a ditch, struck a culvert and rolled.

The driver was taken by ambulance to the Fairmont hospital with a broken leg and facial injuries. No injuries were reported to a passenger, 18-year-old Bradie Rosen of Sherburn.

Severe damage was reported to the vehicle.

The mishap took place around 9:44 p.m.

Authorities say alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
