(Spencer)– Officials at the Spencer campus of Iowa Lakes Community College held a ribbon cutting ceremony this (Thursday) afternoon marking the completion of two four-plex dormitories constructed over the summer.
The new dorms will house 32 students. It’s the first time that housing will be available for students at the Spencer campus.
ILCC President Dr. Harold Prior says it represents a very exciting opportunity for growth at the Spencer campus. He says a lack of housing in the past has made it very difficult for them to retain students.
