(Lake Park)– A Lake Park man was injured Tuesday after losing control of a pickup.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Charles Gillette of Lake Park was westbound on 207th Street. Authorities say Gillette skidded as he attempted to turn onto 170th Avenue. The 1992 Chevrolet pickup he was driving fish-tailed and went off the road and into a ditch where it collided with a field approach and rolled onto the driver’s side.
Gillette was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. There was no immediate word to the nature or extent of his injuries.
Authorities say charges are pending in connection with the crash, which took place shortly after 4:00 p.m.
