(Emmetsburg)– An Estherville man sustained minor injuries Saturday when the vehicle he was driving left the road and collided with a utility pole, winding up in a ditch.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Alex Lundgren of Estherville was northbound on 460th Avenue at the intersection with 280th Street when he lost control.
Lundgren sustained minor injuries but refused immediate treatment.
A 1991 Chevrolet truck he was driving sustained an estimated two-thousand dollars in damage.
Lundgren was cited for failure to maintain control.
