(Milford)– Additional charges have been filed against a Milford man who had multiple drug-related charges filed against him in a traffic stop this past Sunday.
Milford police announced today (Wed.)33-year-old Jason Woodard has also now been charged with sexual abuse in the third degree with an enhanced penalty…a class “A” felony, for the second or subsequent offense. Police say Woodard had previously been convicted of a sex offense.
Woodard has also been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and distribution to a person under the age of 18. Authorities say the latest charges stem from an alleged incident several weeks ago involving a female under the age of 18. It allegedly took place in a vehicle.
Authorities say the additional charges are also the result of an ongoing investigation stemming from last Sunday’s traffic stop that initially resulted in Woodard being charged with intent to deliver…methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of stolen property and several traffic offenses.
Woodard remains in the Dickinson county jail.
