(Primghar)– A collision involving two pickups Sunday in O’Brien county sent two people to the hospital.
Authorities say vehicles driven by 52-year-old Bradley Puhrmann of Paullina and 26-year-old Cory Sickelka of Sutherland collided at the intersection of 430th Street and Tanager Avenue.
Puhrman and Sickelka were both taken by ambulance to the Primghar hospital and were life-flighted to hospitals in Sioux Falls and Sioux City. There was no word on the extent of their injuries or conditions.
The Iowa State Patrol says Puhrmann was westbound on 430th Street and Sickelka was southbound on Tanager Avenue and was going through the intersection when he struck the side rear wheel of Puhmann’s vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest in the southwest ditch.
A damage estimate to the vehicles wasn’t immediately available.
