(Sioux City)– A Truesdale man has pleaded guilty to meth and other charges in U-S District Court in Sioux City.
35-year-old Hank Harrington entered the plea Monday to one count of conspiring to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine and distribute pseudoephedrine and one count of possessing firearms and ammunition as an unlawful user of meth.
Court documents say that from February of 2006 through July of 2009 Harrington and others manufactured and distributed methamphetamine and distributed pseudoephedrine at Harrington’s residence, which was within a thousand feet of a park.
On July 14th of last year officers searched Harrington’s vehicle and seized five firearms. Harrington later took officers to a residence where they found materials used to manufacture meth.
Sentencing for Harrington will be set once a pre-sentence report is complete.
He remains in the custody of a U.S. Marshal in the meantime.
Harrington faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years’ imprisonment and a possible maximum sentence of 80 years along with a four million dollar fine and atleast eight years up to life of supervised release following any imprisonment.
