(Everly)– An investigation into a domestic disturbance in Everly early this (Fri.) morning landed a man in jail on multiple charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 107 East 2nd Street in Everly a little after 1:30 am. A press release says an investigation into the incident led to the arrest of 34-year-old Marcus Lee of Everly. He was charged with control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a felon, reckless use of a firearm causing property damage, domestic abuse assault while displaying or using a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance 3
rd or subsequent offense.
Authorities say a search warrant was also obtained and executed at the residence as part of the investigation, and that additional charges are pending.
