(Spencer)– A Spencer man was taken into custody Saturday evening after authorities received a report of fireworks being shot out of a vehicle and eggs being thrown from it.
Clay county authorities say they received a report of the alleged incident a little before 9:30 that evening involving a black Dodge Durango as it traveled through the Fostoria area. The complainant stated the vehicle was also being driven erratically. It was located by authorities and stopped a little while later near Milford.
19-year-old Nicholas Strong of Spencer was charged with operating while intoxicated, speeding, possession of alcohol under the legal age, limitations on consumer fireworks and possession of a false license.
