(Worthington, Mn.)– An accident in Nobles county involving a car and a semi tractor has claimed the life of a Brewster woman.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 26-year-old Jessica Marco of Brewster and a 2005 Volvo semi tractor driven by 29-year-old Lloyd Ladd of San Dimas, California collided at the intersection of Highway 60 and Nobles County Road one shortly after 8:00 a.m. Monday.
Jessica Marco was pronounced dead at the scene; a passenger in the vehicle she was driving, four-year-old Gavin Marco of Brewster, was taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital and was transferred to Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls. His injuries were described as non-life threatening. No injuries were reported to Ladd.
The car driven by Jessica Marco was totalled; moderate damage was reported to the semi tractor.
