(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Extension Council will have some new faces on it in January as a result of Tuesday’s election.
Five people ran uncontested. Re-elected to four-year terms were Sue Boettcher and Susan Reiser. New members who will join the council in January are Todd Ahrenstorff, Rich Martin and Connie Purchase. They’ll replace Rick Baish, Mark Ingwersen and Curt Smith, who are stepping down.
Carryover council members whose terms expire at the end of 2008 are Ann Ditsworth, Kia Gonnerman, Dawn Matthews and VerDon Schmidt.
The Extension Council hires county staff, manages the county extension budget of about 230-thousand dollars and help determine programming.
