(Terril)– An Algona man was injured Wednesday when a pickup he was driving collided with a fence south of Terril.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Larry Person of Algona was northbound on County Road N-14 two miles south of Terril when he lost control on the icy road. The pickup slid off the right side of the road and rolled into a fence.
Person was taken by private vehicle to an Emmetsburg hospital. There was no immediate word on the nature of his injuries.
A 2004 Ford pickup Person was driving sustained an estimated 16-thousand dollars in damage.
