(Spencer)– The Spencer Police Department is warning of another scam involving Medicare.
Police say they’ve had several reports of residents getting calls recently from someone claiming to represent Medicare…asking about bank account information.
Authorities say that information is never requested by a legitimate vendor.
If you’ve fallen victim to the scheme and gave out the information, police say you should contact your bank as soon as possible to secure your accounts.
