Juveniles Accused Of Shooting B-B Guns At Motorists

November 22, 2014

(Fostoria)– Charges have been filed against three juveniles accused of shooting B-B guns at vehicles as they passed by on Highway 71 in Fostoria.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from a complaint they received shortly after 11:00 a.m. Saturday. A motorist from Milford reported as he was driving past Fostoria three kids ran into a ditch and started shooting at his pickup, which was struck on the passenger-side window. The driver turned around, located the suspects and called the Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy responded and spoke with the motorist, the three kids and their parents. Three b-b rifles and a b-b handgun were confiscated as evidence.

A 12-year-old male and two 11-year-old males were charged Tuesday with criminal mischief in the fourth degree. They were released to their parents pending an appearance in juvenile court.
