(Sibley)– A charge has been filed against a 14-year-old male in connection with a burglary over the weekend at a Sibley restaurant.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a burglary Saturday at El Tio Nacho’s Restaurant in Sibley. Upon arriving deputies located a hispanic juvenile in the building. It’s alleged the teen entered the restaurant by breaking out a window.
The juvenile…who’s name wasn’t released…was taken into custody and charged with burglary in the third degree…a simple misdemeanor. He was taken to the Youth Emergency Services Center in Cherokee.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.
