(Spencer)– Iowa Lakes Regional Water has been awarded a 1.3 million dollar USDA Rural Development Loan and a one million dollar grant to expand rural water service to Twelve Mile Lake and High Lake Township in southwest Emmet county.
Construction of 88 miles of pipeline to those areas will begin this coming spring.
Iowa Lakes Regional Water was also awarded a two million dollar USDA Rural Development Loan and a 200-thousand dollar grant for various projects in 2007 for portions of Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet and Palo Alto counties.
