(Spencer)– The two candidates running for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture will square off next week in a debate at the Clay County Fair.
Democrat Denise O’Brien of Atlantic and Republican Bill Northey of Spirit Lake will field questions from a panel of farm broadcasters.
The 90-minute debate will be held Thursday, September 14th beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the 4-H Auditorium at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
The debate is being sponsored by the Agriculture Committee of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce.
