(Estherville)– Yet another record enrollment for the Spring Quarter at Iowa Lakes Community College.
College officials say credit hours are up four percent, to more than 31-thousand. The enrollment head count is at 3,894…three percent higher than the spring 2006 term.
The news came on the heels of Tuesday’s announcement from the Iowa Community College Online Consortium which reported its enrollments had topped the 10-thousand mark for the first time.
Teresa Ziegler, Director of Distance Education and Global Learning at Iowa Lakes Community College, also serves as Assistant Director for the consortium. She says a large part of the enrollment growth at ILCC can be attributed to on-line offerings.
