(Emmetsburg)– Voters have given the green light for the Emmetsburg School District to move ahead with a major construction project.
A 7.24 million dollar bond issue to construct new middle school classrooms, a new high school gym and auditorium was approved by 63 percent of the voters that turned out at the polls in a referendum Tuesday.
The meaure needed 60 percent approval for passage under Iowa law.
