(Sioux City)– Pappas Telecasting Companies and Dish Network have struck a deal allowing customers of the satellite service to continue receiving Pappas television signals.
A stalemate over contract negotiations, similar to one involving cable giant Mediacom and Sinclair Broadcasting, meant there was a possibility of Dish Network subscribers no longer being able to receive signals from KPTH, a Fox affiliate, and KMEG, a CBS affiliate…both from Sioux City.
Pappas Telecasting announced Thursday it’s reached a five-year agreement with Dish Network that will run through November 30th, 2011.
