(Spirit Lake)– Orville Berg is stepping down after 28 years as a Dickinson County Soil and Water Commissioner.
Berg says he’s doing it out of fairness to the board as he’s only here part of the year. Berg says he’s been gradually stepping down from other organizations in the lakes area he’s been involved with as well.
Berg says he’s very proud of the accomplishments the commission has made in its commitment to protect and improve Dickinson county’s soil and water. He’s especially proud over the fact more and more people are getting involved through the Cleanwater Alliance and the Dickinson County Water Quality Commission.
