(Milford)– A two-vehicle collision Wednesday night west of Milford sent one person to the hospital.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Harold Reisberg of Emmetsburg was southbound on County Road M-34 and 54-year-old Verona Chaffin of Milford was eastbound on County Road A-34.
Authorities say Reisberg didn’t see a stop sign due to fog and collided with the vehicle driven by Chaffin. Reisberg’s vehicle then collided with a stop sign.
Chaffin was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with possible injuries. No injuries were reported to Reisberg.
Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1996 Chevrolet driven by Reisberg; a 1996 Buick Park Avenue driven by Chaffin sustained an estimated three thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap took place around 8:00 p.m.
