(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake woman was injured late this (Friday) morning when the vehicle she was driving collided with a tree on the southwest edge of Spirit Lake.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Patricia Leinbaugh of Spirit Lake was westbound on 165th Street behind Okoboji Lobster and Wine Company when she failed to negotiate a slight curve. The vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.
Leinbaugh was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. The extent of her injuries wasn’t known.
Eight thousand dollars in damage was reported to the right-front of a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup she was driving.
The mishap took place shortly before Noon.
