(Spencer)– A collision Wednesday in Spencer involving a car and a semi sent one person to the hospital complaining of possible injuries.
Spencer police say a 2004 Chevrolet Impala driven by Ethel Clarken of Spencer and a 2006 Volvo semi tractor/trailer driven by 55-year-old Keith Greyson of Cherokee collided at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Seventh Street.
Authorities say Greyson was northbound in the outside lane of Grand Avenue and had stopped for a red light when he was rearended by the vehicle driven by Clarken.
Clarken was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital complaining of possible injuries. No injuries were reported to Greyson.
Minor damage was reported to the sime tractor/trailer driven by Greyson; a dollar amount of damage to the Chevrolet driven by Clarken wasn’t immediately available.
The mishap took place shortly before 3:00 p.m.
