Arrest Made In O’Brien Co. Gas Station Theft

November 22, 2014

(Primghar)– A theft charge has been filed against a Cherokee man in connection with a theft from a Primghar service station.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report last week of an undetermined amount of money that had been taken from the office area of Randy’s Phillips 66 Service in Primghar.

Authorities say a subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of 41-year-old Michael Forcier of Cherokee who was charged with theft in the third degree.

Authorities allege Forcier entered the office area of the business around 11:30 a.m. last Thursday and took the money.

Forcier was booked into the O’Brien county jail on bond of 1,500-dollars.
