(Arnolds Park)– The just-completed season was another profitable one for the Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
Numbers presented at the Historic Arnolds Park Incorporated’s monthly meeting earlier this week show the park finished the season in the black, with net operating income of 189-thousand dollars…up nine thousand dollars from a year ago. Total operating exenditures were slashed by about 100-thousand dollars.
Fred Dowden, Chairman of the board’s Budget and Finance Committee, reported the facility’s long-term debt has been reduced to 146-thousand dollars, compared to the original 1.7 million. Dowden added enough pledges are in place to take care of the remaining debt.
In other business, the board held an election of officers Wednesday. Al Maser was elected Chairman for another term; Joe Connover Vice-Chair; Dennis Ward Secretary and Bob Schneider, Treasurer.
New members Walt Mendenhall and Dick Ramsey were welcomed to the board.
