(Okoboji)– Final numbers have been tallied showing this year’s Battle Of The Bartenders raised some $9,600 for local charities, exceeding last year’s amount by about $3,000.
The January 23rd event, hosted at Parks Marina and The Barefoot Bar, featured 23 area pubs and restaurants in a contest featuring the area’s best mixologists. Johnny’s Pub of Lake Park was the winner of this year’s competition.
The Battle of The Bartenders has raised about $37,600 for area charities over the past eight years the event has been held.
