(Spencer)– An investigation by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office into a registered sex offender has resulted in an arrest.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old Cameron Shuck was arrested today (Tues.) in the area of 1st Avenue West and West 3rd Street in Spencer after it was discovered he allegedly failed to keep his registration up to date as required by law.
Shuck was arrested and booked into the Clay county jail on nine counts of a sex offender registry violation, all of them class “D” felonies.
Shuck was being held on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
