(Graettinger)– The field of candidates for the search of a new Superintendent for the Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire school districts has been narrowed to three.
The finalists include Marty Fonley, an assistant High School Principal in Spencer; Marshall Lewis, a Terril High School graduate with over six years of superintendent experience in Iowa and Nebraska, and Dan Polk, Superintendent for the Elgin Public Schools in Elgin, Nebraska.
A news release issued by the Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire schools says the three finalists will interview with representatives of both districts and tour the communities and facilities, which will be followed by a final interview by the two school boards.
The two school boards hope to make an offer to the successful candidate soon after reviewing feedback from the formal interview teams. The new Superintendent would begin their duties this coming July 1st.
