40th Annual University Of Okoboji Winter Games Officially Underway

The cheerleaders for the 40^th annual University of Okoboji Winter Games helped officially kick off the weekend during our live broadcast this (Fri.) morning from the Ritz.

Events actually got underway Thursday evening, including the annual Battle of The Bartenders at Parks Marina and The Barefoot Bar. The event raised $9,600 for local charities.

1^st place went to Elly Schmitz and Johnny’s Pub with a $4,800 donation to the Brayden Johnson Family; 2^nd place went to Morgan Strauss of Okoboji Boat Works with a $2,880 donation to the Andera family with 3^rd place going to Matt Flockhart of Outback Lounge with a $1,920 donation to the Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire Department.
