(Estherville)– A traffic stop New Year’s Eve in Emmet county resulted in the arrests of two Fairmont men.
Authorities say a deputy conducted the stop in the 5200 block of Highway 9 after the driver failed to dim the vehicle’s headlights. Authorities discovered the driver, 31-year-old Paul Skog, was wanted on a valid Emmet county warrant for failure to appear.
Upon further investigation, deputies found what’s alleged to be marijuana in the vehicle. A passenger, 27-year-old Michael Lee, was also arrested.
Skog was booked into jail on the warrant and was issued citations for failure to dim headlights and violation of a construction permit. Lee was charged with possession of a controlled substance…2nd offense.
