(Estherville)– An investigation by the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office into a tip of an underage drinking party Saturday night east of Ringsted resulted in numerous citations being issued.
Deputies arrived at 5716 Highway 15 and found 23 underage people there. 15 of them were cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age and were released. A 16-year-old was also cited and released to the custody of a parent.
Emmet county authorities were assisted by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office.
