(Emmetsburg)– Not even is a State Trooper immune from hitting a deer. The very thing happened late Monday night in Palo Alto county.
The Sheriff’s Office says it was called shortly after 11:00 pm after getting a report that a state patrol vehicle had collided with a deer while traveling northbound in the 3000 block of Highway four.
The state trooper that was driving the vehicle, Scott Studer, wasn’t hurt, but the squad car sustained about $10,000 in damage.
