(Spencer)– A Spencer man escaped injury last week in a mishap involving a semi.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says David Larsen of Spencer was driving a 1999 Freightliner semi and was attempting to make a left turn after exiting a field drive. Authorities say Larsen misjudged the corner causing the rear of the semi trailer to go into the ditch. The trailer, which was loaded with grain, then rolled onto its side.
Damage to the semi was estimated at $10,000.
