The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association will hold their Rock 4 Vets Concert featuring Galaxy on Thursday evening.
Executive Director Dave Strohman says Veterans and Active Military will receive free admission. “It’s always a privilege to honor the Vets and every year we put on this concert where we allow admission for free, which is the least we can do to show our appreciation for what they’ve done. During the show, we’ll take some time to recognize those Vets, and again, it’s an honor and a privilege and we’re always excited about doing this every year.”
He notes that the public is encouraged to attend. “There will be dancing, there will be great music, we’ve got a great band set up and so it ought to be fun for everybody. If you can, wear your red, white and blue to show your support for our Vets.”
The doors will open at 5, with the concert at 6 o’clock Thursday night at the Majestic Pavilion in Arnolds Park.
Tickets are $8 per person, $15 for couple. Veterans and Active Military free.
