(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a stabbing overnight at a Spirit Lake convenience store.
Police say they were called to the Kum ‘n Go shortly before 11:00 pm Monday where a female customer had been stabbed in the store. The victim was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. There was no immediate word on her condition or extent of injuries.
Prior to police arriving, the suspect, identified as 43-year-old Teangelo Lamel Grice, had fled the scene on foot. A search was conducted but Grice remains at large. He’s described as a black male, 5’11” tall, 200 pounds with brown eyes.
Grice is wanted on charges of attempted murder, domestic 3rd offense, violation of a no contact order, false imprisonment, burglary in the 1st degree and assault while displaying a weapon.
