(Okoboji)– A rip-rap project at the Dixon Beach seawall on West Lake Okoboji is being pushed back. The Okoboji City Council learned Tuesday night no bids were received on the project.
The city’s engineer told the council the likely reason behind that is the tight time frame that was placed on the project along with the inclement weather this fall.
A date for a new bidletting will be set at the council’s December meeting. They’re also looking at expanding the time frame for the project, with the possibility of the work being done either in the spring, if the weather allows, or this coming September.
