(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative recently awarded grants of $2,000 each to several projects and entities in the region.
Officials with the cooperative say the money is from it’s “Operation Round-Up” program.
Grants were awarded to the Dickinson County Historical Society to assist with the preservation of a caboose outside its museum in Spirit Lake; the city of Arnolds Park to assist in the construction of four pickleball courts at Sawmill Park; and the Wallingford Fire Department for fire, wildland and communication equipment.
