Central Iowa Crash Injures Three People From Estherville

(De Soto)– A two-vehicle collision Sunday in Dallas county in central Iowa injured three people from Estherville.

The Iowa State Patrol says 70-year-old Constantino Alvarez of Estherville was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Highway 169 and 60-year-old Scott Toland of Winterset was driving a 2019 Toyota 4Runner and was exiting Interstate 80 and turning south, when the two collided.

Toland along with Constantino and two passengers in his vehicle, 63-year-old Michael Bradshaw and 41-year-old Michael Mathine, both of Estherville, were taken to local hospitals.

The crash took place around 3:00 pm.
